Is all the content on Potter's Realm accurate? - I have done my best to provide you with the most accurate information I could muster, but I am only human, and 'to err is human, to forgive is divine'. I might have made mistakes which I might have overlooked. In such cases, the best you could do is to provide me with the correct information and send me an Owl.

I have seen this same content elsewhere! - If that is the case, then kindly send me the URL of the site where you have seen the same content. Before starting work on this site, I had been in the habit of collecting as much Harry Potter information, from the Internet and other sources, as I could possibly get.
It was using all this information, that I have created this site. Though most of the content here has been written after a lot of research from other fansites, some sections are solely my own.
So just send me the URL and I will add the necessary credits to the pages.

You have somebody else's copyrighted material! - I may have some copyrighted material, belonging to others. I have already said that before working on this site, I had used various means to collect data. So I might have some copyrighted material and I may have not asked permission from the copyright holder.
Just correct me and I will do the needful. As usual, send me an Owl.

I want to post some content. How do I do it? - The best you can do is - Send me an Owl! Write everything you want to, in the correct formatting. I might make some necessary changes and then I will surely post it on Potter's Realm.
Just dont forget to send me your details, especially your name, age and email address. If you have a small photograph, that will be useful too. Some fans might want to contact you and congratulate you!

I want to help with building Potter's Realm. - So you want to do your share in the work related with Potter's Realm? I would be extremely glad to accept you in the working team of PottersRealm.tk!
But there are some criterion which you must fulfill, before being able to help. Just some basic things:

1. You MUST be a diehard Harry Potter Fan (of course)!
2. You must have some working knowledge of computers.

See it is quite simple! But dont forget, you must send me an Owl, asking me to accept you for either, or as many as you can manage, posts:

1. Content Manager
2. Site Designer
3. News Poster
4. Supporting Admin
5. Graphic Designer
etc.

At present all of the above posts are vacant to some or the other degree, but since I might have a lot of applications on hand, kindly do not be frustrated. You might join the Admin team of Potter's Realm!

What does a Content Manager do? - Well, I suppose the name is quite self-descriptive, but for those of you who still dont understand, a Content Manager will gather information about topics which have not been added to Potter's Realm.
He/She will then compile the data, format it, along with pictures and other relevant materials - like images etc., and then send them to me, via an owl or an email attachment. It will then be added to Potter's Realm along with the name and photograph of the Content Manager.

How many Content Managers does Potter's Realm require? - Potter's Realm requires at present about 5 (five) Content Managers, though the number could as well go up as and when necessity arises.

What does a Site Designer do? - ::Sighs:: A Site Designer is required to design Potter's Realm's look and feel. This post requires some techinical qualifications. Which are:

1. He must have working knowledge of PHPNuke's site engine.
2. Must be good at imagining and visualizing.
3. Must have good knowledge of a graphics design software like Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro etc.

How many Site Designers are required by Potter's Realm? - Potter's Realm, at present requires 1 Site Designer only.

News Poster? - This is the most important of all. A News Poster must be a nosey chap ;) He/She should be able to ferret out information and any news or rumours about anything related to Harry Potter.

How will a News Poster submit, his/her news? - There is a Submit News link under the Home(News) category in the navigation menu on the left. It will take the Poster to a form. Just fill it out with your relevant news. I will receive a submission request and when I have checked it over, the News will be posted on the Homepage.

Number of News Posters required? - This is the only post which can accomodate the maximum number of people. Any visitor to Potter's Realm can post any news, but there will be only one official News Poster. He or she will have to make a minimum of 5 posts per week. If you meet this criterion, then send me an Owl.

Supporting Admin? What about that? - A Supporting Admin will be needed for Potter's Realm. But this person should have a lot of qualifications and before being assigned to a job, he must contact me- i.e. the Admin and the he will have to undergo a small online interview.
THERE IS ONLY ONE POST FOR THIS.

Graphic Designers? - A person wanting to apply to the post of a Graphic Designer, must have a good knowledge about design, rendering and image design softwares like - Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro etc. THERE IS ONLY ONE POST VACANT NOW.

Will you PAY? - Before I answer that question, Let me tell you this, I am not deriving any kind of monetary gains from Potter's Realm. You must have noticed, that there are no advertisements - no nothing.
When I, myself, am not getting any monetary gains from Potter's Realm, then how do you suppose am I to pay others?
Only those people who are voluntarily willing to help, must apply for any of these posts. There is to be NO monetary refurbishments of any kind. All that you will get willbe credit for your work. Thats all.

What are Fan Fics? - Fan Fics are acronyms for Fan Fiction. These are stories written by Fans. They are in no way related to J.K. Rowling, but some of these may contain Spoilers for future books and for those who have not read the Harry Potter books as yet.

How do I write a Fan Fic? - Well what can I possibly say to that?!?! You may have read the books. You know who the characters are, you may have thought about some possible prequels or sequels etc. to the story. So just let your imagination run wild and start on a fan fic. Thats it. Though I must tell you that writing a Fan Fic requires a lot of patience and is hard work!

Will you post my Fan Fic on Potter's Realm? - If what you have written is good enough and it is original content, I will definitely make a new section for Fan Fics and post yours, along with your name, age, email and a photograph. :)

What are Site Points? - When you look around the site, browse pages, submit news articles, recommend us to a friend etc. you receive points in return. These points are called Site Points or SP for short.

How will I be able to use SP? - SP are some of the most wonderful things here. You can exchange SP to join any of the Houses, viz. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Each House has special previleges, including House specific themes.

How many SP do I get for participating? There are so many things I can do here! - Here is a small list of the things you can participate in and the amount of SP you earn:

Recommendation to a Friend: Each time a user send the link to our site to a friend via Recommend Us Module - 20 points

News Submission: Published News that the user sends from Submit News module and then published by the administrator - 10 points

News Comment: Comment published for any article and/or news - 5 points

News Sent to a Friend: Each article's or news has an option to send it to a friend. Points valid for each time the user sends the article to a friend - 5 points

News Article Rating: Each time a user votes for any article - 5 points

Vote in Surveys: Each vote registered for any survey, actual or old ones are valid - 5 points

Comment in Surveys: Comment published for any actual or old survey - 5 points

Forum New Post: Each time the user opens a new thread in the Forums - 5 points

Forum Answer Post: Forums threads answered or replied - 5 points

Review Comment: Comment published for any review in the Reviews module - 5 points

Page View: Get points for each page view generated by the user. Valid for any page of the site - 1 point

Visit to a WebLink: Each time a user clicks to visit any resource on WebLinks module - 1 point

How do I submit my Fan Fic? - You can submit your Fanfic using the Submit Editorials Link in the Floo Network.

Just pay attention that to give line breaks you will have to use the HTML tag
