Well, to me, I also think the whole Dumbledore being gay was insane......he never seemed that way to me. And I am glad none of it was brought out in the stories, I think it would have made Harry a little uneasy......

But on the subject: yes I agree with maryharrypfan, about Dumbldore having guilt of perhaps killing his own sister to think him worthy of love. Too bad for him, but he had a mission to complete, and I think he may even have loved Harry and considered him like a son....idk...just thinking out loud.

I think it's really cool that Rowling made Dumbledore gay, because not a lot of authors would do that with a character like Dumbledore!
How many authors do you know of that would make such an important character as Dumbledore turn out to be gay? Also, I just thought of this after I read about it... WHAT WOULD THE FANFICTIONS BE LIKE?!? LOL EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I think it's a shame that JK made Dumbledore a homosexual person,, I personally don't care much about people being gay, but I think a fair number of people do,,, and also there was no need really, to make him gay he would have been better off as a straight man who is indifferent to women don't you think???

Ablus Dumbledore was not gay i know for a fact. i believe that he had a thing for professor McGonagol and she had noe for him. she smiled at him when ever he spoked to her and he toyed with her like that. McGonagol rarly smiled for anyone. So don't you dare insult him like that you stupid *****!
