wow everyone in here is so great at comprehending all this!!! It's actually a bit scary, when you think about it... but it's true, if you do peice everything together backwards, it all works. A newbie would have to read 1-7, take a month of pause to take it all in, then read from 7-1 and it will all be so obvious on the Sev part. In fact, I think I'll do that next time I run out of books.

I think that is one of the best things about the series: looking back through the books at all the clues that make sense now. Like the locket in OotP, or the Deluminator. There are so many things that, like you said, once you've read the books through, everything fits together perfectly.
