The life and lie of Albus Dumbledore are not all true, Yes he was friends with Grindiwald and he was intrested in the Deathly hallows, but he can not be to blame for Ariana's death because either one could have killed her Albus and Aberforth had held a funneral for their little sister Grindiwald however ran as soon as he found out Ariana was dead. Aberforth was certain that it was Albus who had killed her because in his oppion Albus never wanted to take care of her, so he had punched his brother in the face, breaking his nose. Ariana was never sick though true she never attended Hogwarts but she wan't a Squib when she was young, she was doing magic and some muggle boys who were older had seen her do magic but thought it was just a simple trick, they got angry when she couldn't show them how to do the same thing so they started abusing her, so she went out of control with her magic. It's also true that their father went to Azkaban the reason was because he was trying to protect his daughter from the muggle boys, and that's all I'm posting for now Bye everyone!

thanks Gimmy_black brilliant post the hole thing in a nut shell

But one thing wrong, Ariana was sik, she was mentally sick after the attack from those muggle boys and because she refused to use magic after that attack it led to her death as well, because she was trying to help and because a danger so one of those boys killed her (I suspect it WAS grindelwald)

Nice summary, Ginny, but I'd like to say, Aberforth wasn't SURE that Albus was the one who killed Ariana, he broke Albus's nose because Albus sort of started the duel that resulted in Arianna's death. Like in the book, there was no waytotell who killed Arianna.

I think it's clear that, regardless of who actually cast the curse that killed Ariana, Aberforth holds Albus responsible for her death . And he's right, really. Albus confesses that he knew Grendelwald's true nature, but was blinded by the possibilities of uniting the Deathly Hallows. When he chose the Hallows over his responsibilities, he started the ball rolling that led to her death. It was only a matter of time anyway, because if the duel hadn't killed her, the journey very likely would have.

What the heck? Just because Dumbledore was outed does not mean he had a thing for Grindlewald. Dumbledore sent Grindlewald to prison.

Yes, Dumbledore did send Grindelwald to Numregard. But, JK revealed that Dumbledore was actually gay and had romantic feelings toward Grindelwald.
