Number 12 Grimmauld Place and wills

Ok here we go since the ministery of magic has 30 days to review a will from a wizard which they did so in the 7th book when Dumbledore left Harry, Ron, and Hermonie items from his will.

In book 6 we learn about about how Harry is left #12 Grimmauld Place in Sirius will, In book 7 Harry, Hermonie and Ron hide there. Ok the Ministery of Magic in under Voldamorts control now. Why couldn't the ministery tell any one about the address if they had 30 days to study the will and knew where it was..????

Well TDBEAR that is a very good question. Maybe with all the security jinxes and charms they were unable to actually locate the place.?

Maybe it was because no one at the MOM knew of it TRUE location?

Seeing that it was being protected by the Order with a secret keeper and all.

I must say that the Ministry knew the general location of 12 Grimmauld Place - considering the fact that certain Death Eaters were placed outside that very location to see if and when somebody entered 12 Grimmauld Place.

So I think Voldemort knew of the general location of 12 Grimmauld Place, but since it was still protected by the Fidelius charm, he was unable to find it.

I agree with that Jibran, but in book 6 after Sirius' death the MOM wasn't over taken by death eaters. So therefore MAYBE no one there new the true location.

Yes Mary, but I believe that the Ministry would keep records of everything. So it could be possible that the DEs did come to know of 12 GPs location.

I also think that maybe bellatrix and narcissa knew of a general whereabouts as well, owning to the fact that they were blacks before they got married
