What is War? In the wizard and witch world it is the battle between good and evil. Harry being the good and Voldamort being the evil. As in most stories the good will lose more friends and freedom then evil , but in the end they will win the war. In the 1st book Harry is befriended by Dumbledore and meets evil, with the help of Ron and Hermonie defeat evil. In the 2nd book evil shows it head again this time in the form of a diary a horcruxe. Harry faces evil by himself , but because of belief in his friends and Dumbledore the good claim victory over evil. In the 3rd book Harry faces evil both from within and out of the school. The ministry out side school and Draco, Crabbe and Goyle inside school, but he wins again and learns the truth about his parents death and learns that he has a Godfather. In the 4th book evil arises again as Voldamorts Death Eaters penetrate the school and try to kill Harry by entering him in the Tri-Wizards Tournament, in the end a fellow school mate dies and Voldamort gets his body back. One of the first death's in the comming battle and the death of a Death Eater. In the 5th book evil arises again the Ministry doe not belive that the evil one is back and goes out of its way to make Harry a lier, but Harry fights back with the creation of Dumbledores Army, and the Order of the Phoenix join him at the Ministry of Magic and fights evil again. This time he looses his godfather the second of the comming battle, and good wins again. In the 6th book evil is back and the Ministry knows it. As evil grows stronger the good and the inocent are punished or killed. Harry learns more about defeating evil from Dumbledore, but Dumbledore becomes the third death in the upcomming battle against evil. In the 7th book evil is all around him he has become the Ministrys Most wanted, The Ministry is defeated and Harry, Ron and Hermonie are on their own in their search for the Horcruxes they need to destroy to defeat evil. Mad eye Moody is the fourth death in the upcomming battle. Dooby the free house elf is the fifth death as he rescues Harry and his friends from evil. As they destroy the Horcruxes Voldamort becomes weaker, then comes the final battle between Good and Evil at Hogwarts where it all begin. In the final battle, Fred Weasley, Tonks, Lupin, Collin and 50 other schoolmates die in their fight against evil. In the end Evil (Voldamort) kills Good (Harry) but Harry does not die instead Voldamort kills his evil Horcruxe in Harry . Harry who has learned about snape and his mother and the reason why Dumbledore trusted Snape. This and the death of his friends give Harry the strength and courage to face Voldamort and in the end Voldamort himself is killed by his own hand. Thus Good wins against evil but the price paid in doing so is very high. To some it up when evil stirs GOOD will be their to fight it.
Well, that was very deep. I to agree with what your thoughts were TDBEAR. I think Harry thought that he knew what was needed to beat Voldermort, but in the end I feel that he was very taken back by the loss involved. Very sad but as I always say ," out of something bad comes something good."

Good was happy, then evil stepped in a corrupted goods happy perfect life.
Evil takes reign for a while but then good pops up here and there
good then has a person that is to put all right omn the earth, but evil kills that person, but really doesnt because that person is so much more powerful that Evil.
in the end Evil is wiped off the earth by the big good guys.
I know it all sounds lame, but tranfer Voldemort wand death eaters with satan and his demons and then good with god and Jesus and all the angels and all gods people on earth and you find the story in harry potter as something similar to what the bible has told us.
