Ok...Here's my opinion.

I do believe that Malfoy is a Death Eater, but maybe not because he wants to be.
For one thing, he wants to be seen as big and bad and he's known for it and what would make him look tougher than becoming a Death Eater. Also, if I'm not mistaken, both of his parents are Death Eaters and he's probably expected to be one. Anoter thing, Voldemort wanted to get back at Lucius for screwing up and so he appointed Malfoy the one to carry out "the deed."
Rowling has said in an interview that Malfoy wouldn't have killed Dumbledore even if he had the chance. She also said that some characters, such as Voldemort are not redeemable but others are. (When saying this she had been asked if Malfoy was good or bad)

So, I don't think he's evil...I think he's just confused and likes to wear the tough guy mask and now he's in way over his head. (And he very well deserves it)
I think he'll turn around for the better...Maybe not being nice, but I don't think he'll end up evil.

I think that is but.....
He wanted to be a death eater but he didn?t count that he must kill somebody especially Dumbledore and rescue his parents!!!!
In 6.book Malfoy where in Madam Malkins robe shop when Harry and his friends come there!!!
Madam Malkin even didn?t touch Malfoy when he screamed????
But I think that he regret his desicon!!!!! tongue

Like I said...He agreed to something, didn't know or expect getting in too deep, and now he's in way over his head and he probably wants out.

Anywho, HE HAS been Branded because he got through the Barrier, that only death eaters could get through.

there are only two things in the world of Magic that would make Borgin nearly pee his pants like he did in the shop that day, and it is the knowledge someone was death eater and the threat of Greyback, which Malfoy BOTH used.

Malfoy was proud to have been chosen for the task, so much so that he refused to allow Snape to help him and he started to become rude to Snape, when he was actually almost always crawling up Snape's behind in the first five books. He wanted the glory for himself. to Prove he was a death Eater

But when the time for action came, he ended up like any other kid put under too much pressure and he chickened out because he couldnt do what needed to be done.

Just the perfect reason why no one under a certain age is not allowed in the Order of the Pheonix

Malfoy's a Death eater. It's his family line. All purebloods(except the weasleys) are supposed to be Death eaters(except Sirius).
