Is J.K. Rowling writing a new series?!?!

I heard that Jo was going to write a new series. Does anyone have any info about this? Is it going to be fantasy or non-fic? When is she planning to release it?

I doubt that she's gonna write a new series. I heard that she said in an interview that seh wasn't going to write anymore,,,

i know she said that about the harry potter series but... i really do hope that she starts another series. she truly is an amazing writer!

I recall reading an interview with her stating that she said she was done with the Potter series...(in fact, she said jokingly, that if she writes another Potter book it'll be Harry Potter and the Mid-Life Crisis...) but, she did say she might do another book styled like A History of Quiditch or Fantastic Beasts and Where To FInd Them...she said this book would probably be an encyclopedia...with the proceeds going to charity.

I read an interview before Deathly Hallows was released that went something like this:

We asked Jo if she was going to start another series about Harry as an adult, but she replied with a smile, "Who says he'll grow up to be an adult?"

That scared me, but I'm a bit assured now that I finished Deathly Hallows today. I'm not giving any details, though!

I read some where that also Teja, but i also read that she may use a penn name so as to NOT be reconized very easily.

Well I agree with Jacksparrow0666. The interviews that I have read have confirmed what Jack has stated. I do believe that Jo will write more books. She states that it is a very important part of her life. I also believe that in the future we will see a sequel to the Harry Potter series.
