"All too often in the pop genre, the female artists are so similar you can almost pull out a rubber stamp and just say singer, singer, singer, singer. They look alike, the sound alike, their songs are alike, they act a like and they are pretty much interchangeable. P!nk is a like a breath of fresh air in a big, stagnant room and I hope the music industry is breathing deep.
Stupid girl is an anthem to every woman who sees through the veil of the image of the "perfect" woman the media shoves down our throats. Although P!nk is herself a totally beautiful woman, she sells the entire concept that a woman can be more, and should demand more of herself.
So on behalf of the smart girls, the nonconformists, those of us whose bodies differ from the Victoria's Secret catelog and weren't voted most popular in high school, I say thanks P!nk and keep up the great work!
