Star Wars is old?!? Sadlyamuggle, what the H are you fibbling about? They aren't old, they're classics! And may I remind you that number three came out this year? Hayden is gorgeous in that movie (I happen to be a sucker for yellow eyes) and Mark, the guy that played Luke, is an really excellent actor. Not to mention Harrison Ford!

Star Wars isn't just Star Wars because of the unique storyline, or the brilliant computer animation, or because George Lucas is a genius when it comes to movies like this. Part of the reason why Star Wars became such a big hit is of course the storyline, but also because of the actors that plays in the movies, classics as new. That's why I think they're so brilliant, because the actors do a tremendous job. SW is everything at once; funny, dark, angsty, romantic, actionfilled, sad and tragic. They have everything, and because of that, they will always be classics. I rest my case

And if any of you mess with Slytherin, you'll have to answer to me. I've never been sorted into anything other than Slytherin. So don't even *wags finger at you*

Still, it is old, it came 23 years ago! Still if the third movie came this year, Star Wars was invented 23 years ago...So i see no reason to not calling it old...I am saying that, Its Star Wars whos old, not the movies.

Sorry if i confunded you El-Gilliath...and everyone, lol!

So it's old. So are hundreds of other classic movies. So far, the Star Wars movies seem kinda better than the Hp movies, but the books will NEVER compare.

I wrote third b/c Episode VI was the third Star Wars movie released~ anyway~ yes we all love Hayden Christiansen~ Mark Hamill played Luke~ and I think the actors in 4, 5 & 6 were much better than the actors of 1, 2 & 3 (with the exception of Liam Neeson, Ewan McGreggor, and Yoda- hehehe) but the stories will still good. I just hated in Episode 2, the love story b/w Anakin and Padme~ they had no chemistry in my opinion so I hated some of the scenes from that movie~

I haven't read any star wars books, so I couldn't say whether or not HP is better!!

Sorry, I just get extra worked up whenever Star Wars is being discussed. But they're still classics tongue

I've read loads of the Star Wars books, and as a certified Sci-Fi geek, I absolutely love them! So I'm going to say the exact same thing that I said in the Narnia discussion; they cannot be compared, because it's two worlds that are so different, even though they are both amazing. I hold a strong fire, as you probably noticed lol, for both HP and SW.
