We all knew that Snape is a slimy git, that's pretty obvious huh? I actually think he's on the good side though, but I still don't like him because he's just creepy.
well i have this thing about me where i believe that there is good in everyone, even in the baddest of people. i do believe it is our choices that make us who we are, but sometimes we can make the wrong decision and i know because i've made plenty of wrong decisions. i know that it's okay though because i know i'm not the only one.
maybe snape had other reasons for doing what he did to dumbledore, like maybe dumbledore had told snape to kill him and snape was only doing what was asked of him.
then again snape maybe just another bad guy, but nobody is pure evil, except for voldemort and hitler....
well that's all that i can say for right now.

Well, Snape's loyalties are still under scrutiny so to say. For example, we have no conclusive proof in regards to his talk with Albus Dumbledore in HBP. That will be clarified only in Deathly Hallows.

though, ppl like snape only care about themselves. He of course didnt want to die, so he chose to kill. For a kind of person like that, he had to choose that, i mean, he had to, wanted or not.
The funny thingi s that there are different degrees of Evil in the fictional universe
Palpatine/The Emperor(SW), Saron or what ever it is (LOTR), Tom Marvolo Riddle/Lord Voldemort, pureist of evil(HP).
Then if you look again there are others that may not be pure evil, but are still evil Darth Vadar, Darth Maul (SW), Lucius Malfoy,Dolores Umbridge, Bellatrix Lestrange, Narcissa Malfoy, Severus Snape.
There are degrees of evil and although snape may have had good intentions or whatever, I still believe he is evil because there is a degree of evilness in him to want to torture those children that he did in his potions classes, and the hatred he shows towards most. He used dumbledore as a way out of Azkaban
I Will always say Snape is evil, even if he does help Harry in the end, there can not really be a redemption, due to the fact that he has laways and always will be murkey

I think hes good beacuse Dumbledore knew he was too weak to live and he wanted Snape to kill him quick so he wouldnt suffer, He would Have a Quick, Semi Painless Death.
I also think hes evil BEACUSE:

Like that fight, Snape (in my opinion) was telling DD that he no longer wanted to spy on Voldemort
this is the reason why snape was not invited to patrol the Corridors by the rest of the Order, he was in his room, and probably didnt know dumbledore wasnt there, due to the fact that DDwas starting to hide things from snape
The order from voldemort. Snape had to have known about the order for Draco to kill DD because DD knew it was draco trying to get things to him the Necklace and the Bottle of booze (alchohol). DD knew this because snape had told him.
But with the death of Emmeline Vance, the fact that Harry told DD about the overheard conversation with Snape and Draco about the Unbreakable Vow, the fact that Snape wasnt actually stopping draco from doing what he wa doing, the fact that Snape was not patrolling the corridors and the fact that Snape was telling Dumbledore that he no longer wanted to do what he had promised to do, led DD to believe that snape no longer was on his side.
The begging DD did, was trying to get Snape to stop and think and not betray him but snape betrayed him and made some very bad choices.
DD did not trust snape, as much due to all those things, otherwise he would have had Snape Patrolling the corridors with the rest of the Order, but he wasnt, he was in his room and only alerted to the fact that there was death eaters in the castle bvy the fact that Flitwick raced there to get help from him. DD knew, that with the vow Over Snapes head, he would have been liable to do anything and that could include murdwering someone to protect the student he had sworn to protect over all other people
