Errors/Mistakes: Half-Blood Prince

i can remember that in one part of the book, Ron Weasely is called Rupert. Rupert Grint is the actor who acts as Ron in the movies. I believe that JK. Rowling must have been thinking about the actor when she was writing one day and accidently wrote Rupert rather than Ron. The mistake is on page page 485 in the American version of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The sentence is said by professor Slughorn and it says: " Had a house-elf taste every bottle after what happened to your poor friend Rupert."

here's a plothole I noticed from HBP. Students require permission from a parent or guardian to visit Hogsmead. Harry, unable to get permission from the Dursleys, received permission from Sirius Black back in Book 3. However, Sirius Black is now dead, so shouldn't that mean that Harry doesn't actually have permission?

Dumbledore's right hand is supposed to be blackened and dead-looking throughout book 6. However, on the cover of the American version, his hand looks fine.
