PottersRealm.com ~ A History

Pottersrealm.com was initially conceptualized by Jibran (thats me folks!) in around January 2004. But before I tell you all about how Pottersrealm.com came to be, I must tell you about me. To know more about me Click here. That completed, now back to PottersRealm.com ~ A History.

Initially, PottersRealm was called HPWeb.com and was confined to my local server (read as my PC). I confess that it had a very low down theme, and soon I got tired of it. Later on, I saw CoS and my desire for an HP Fansite started again. I worked hard and soon PottersRealm was born. In its infancy, PottersRealm just had around 10 pages and was uploaded on a free server of Zer0host.com (now defunct) with the domain name - Pottersrealm.tk. This was in April 2004. By mid June 2004, Zer0Host.com died out, but I had always kept local copies of my site. Then PR again shifted onto another free host - Zonichost.com, which also died out by November 2004. Since then PR has been offline.

In this second loss, PR lost most of its database, and files. But God obviously had other plans. I have always believed in divinity and I was confident that Pottersrealm would not die out. And so it happened. I was contacted by Jimmy of PottersKeys.com, who was having some problems with PottersKeys.com I had helped to solve his problems and he asked me if I could become the Moderator and Coder for PK. I agreed. And now - PottersRealm.com is backs in its full fledged form thanks to Purplehawk of PK.

Pottersrealm.com is back, and ready to grow. Unlike in other Harry Potter fansites, Pottersrealm.com has most of the data and information submitted by Site members. So if you have some info which has not been added to the site, send it on!
